3 phases or times when a patient requires orthodontics
Phase 0:
They are the babies who present some kind of abnormal habit that must be intercepted and corrected immediately such as sucking the / fingers, sucking lip; sucking tongue, sucking objects like rags to the mouth to sleep oct.... is a phase whose primary objective is to eliminate that habit so that it does not interfere with the child's correct craniofacial development.
Phase 1:
Also called interceptive orthodontics, it is applied for those patients who have mixed teeth, i.e. permanent teeth and temporary or "milk" teeth, the aim is to prepare the maxillary for the correct rash of permanent teeth in this phase can be used fixed aparatology (it has the advantage of not fully requiring the cooperation of the patient), in this type of apparatus we find the bars after palatines, arches, utilitarian arches, techniques 2 × 4 among others...

Phase 2:
It is the orthodontics of the adult where it is taken as the starting parameter of this phase that has erupted the second permanent molar.
